  38.
  39. We'd like information (pointers to ftp sites ...etc) about the
  40. KA9Q TCP/IP Package for Packet Radio. Any information on this
  41. topic would be appreciated.

  55. It seems that the ncr.com user that is causing all the errors
  56. should be taken off the list. I get more error mail from this
  57. list then anything meaningful.

  708.
  709. Hi All,
  710.
  711.  You'll have to excuse my ignorance here, as I'm new to this list,
  712. and KA9Q.  I was advised by somebody at my internet provider that I could
  713. use KA9Q to set up an inexpensive internet router.  What I want to do is
  714. put a machine on our net that would dial our internet provider when a packet
  715. arrives at it destined for the internet.  I would prever to use PPP for the
  716. dial protocol, but CSLIP would be fine as an alternate.
  717.
  718.  I got a verion of KA9Q from the net, and have it on a machine in
  719. our net, talking to the rest of our local net.  What I can't figure out is
  720. how to actually get the PPP interface to dial out, and then dial out when
  721. a packet arrives for the internet.
  722.
  723.  I'm hoping somebody can point me to a KA9Q distribution, or document
  724. on how to do this sort of thing.
  725.
  726. Thanx,
  727. b.

  1366. To: tcp-group@ucsd.edu
  1367.
  1368. Hi All,
  1369.
1370.  You'll have to excuse my ignorance here, as I'm new to this list,
1371. and KA9Q.  I was advised by somebody at my internet provider that I could
1372. use KA9Q to set up an inexpensive internet router.  What I want to do is
1373. put a machine on our net that would dial our internet provider when a packet
1374. arrives at it destined for the internet.  I would prever to use PPP for the
1375. dial protocol, but CSLIP would be fine as an alternate.
  1376.
1377.  I got a verion of KA9Q from the net, and have it on a machine in
1378. our net, talking to the rest of our local net.  What I can't figure out is
1379. how to actually get the PPP interface to dial out, and then dial out when
1380. a packet arrives for the internet.
  1381.
1382.  I'm hoping somebody can point me to a KA9Q distribution, or document
1383. on how to do this sort of thing.
  1384.
  1385. Thanx,
  1386. b.

  2026.
  2027. Hi All,
  2028.
2029.  You'll have to excuse my ignorance here, as I'm new to this list,
2030. and KA9Q.  I was advised by somebody at my internet provider that I could
2031. use KA9Q to set up an inexpensive internet router.  What I want to do is
2032. put a machine on our net that would dial our internet provider when a packet
2033. arrives at it destined for the internet.  I would prever to use PPP for the
2034. dial protocol, but CSLIP would be fine as an alternate.
  2035.
2036.  I got a verion of KA9Q from the net, and have it on a machine in
2037. our net, talking to the rest of our local net.  What I can't figure out is
2038. how to actually get the PPP interface to dial out, and then dial out when
2039. a packet arrives for the internet.
  2040.
2041.  I'm hoping somebody can point me to a KA9Q distribution, or document
2042. on how to do this sort of thing.
  2043.
  2044. Thanx,
  2045. b.

  3302. Hi All,
  3303.
3304.  You'll have to excuse my ignorance here, as I'm new to this list,
3305. and KA9Q.  I was advised by somebody at my internet provider that I could
3306. use KA9Q to set up an inexpensive internet router.  What I want to do is
3307. put a machine on our net that would dial our internet provider when a packet
3308. arrives at it destined for the internet.  I would prever to use PPP for the
3309. dial protocol, but CSLIP would be fine as an alternate.
  3310.
3311.  I got a verion of KA9Q from the net, and have it on a machine in
3312. our net, talking to the rest of our local net.  What I can't figure out is
3313. how to actually get the PPP interface to dial out, and then dial out when
3314. a packet arrives for the internet.
  3315.
3316.  I'm hoping somebody can point me to a KA9Q distribution, or document
3317. on how to do this sort of thing.
  3318.
  3319. Thanx,
  3320. b.
  3321.
