  254. Upon connecting to my jnos box from my windows winsock dll via an enet
  255. adapter,
  256. all is well until I "connect" to another station via the mb connect feature.

  259. telnet is xmiting each character to jnos, and this in turn is getting put on

  771.  You'll have to excuse my ignorance here, as I'm new to this list,
  772. and KA9Q.  I was advised by somebody at my internet provider that I could
  773. use KA9Q to set up an inexpensive internet router.  What I want to do is
  774. put a machine on our net that would dial our internet provider when a packet
  775. arrives at it destined for the internet.  I would prever to use PPP for the
  776. dial protocol, but CSLIP would be fine as an alternate.
  777.  
  778.  I got a verion of KA9Q from the net, and have it on a machine in
  779. our net, talking to the rest of our local net.  What I can't figure out is
  780. how to actually get the PPP interface to dial out, and then dial out when
  781. a packet arrives for the internet.
  782.  
  783.  I'm hoping somebody can point me to a KA9Q distribution, or document
  784. on how to do this sort of thing.

  973. Upon connecting to my jnos box from my windows winsock dll via an enet
  974. adapter,
  975. all is well until I "connect" to another station via the mb connect feature. 
  976. My 
  977. windows
  978. telnet is xmiting each character to jnos, and this in turn is getting put on
  979. the 
  980. ax25 
  981. interface (each character).  Should the windows software xmit one character
  982. at a 
  983. time,
  984. or should it wait until I hit enter (cr) and xmit an entire packet of text ? 
  985. I a
  986. m using
  987. the Trumpet winsock, and its pretty current.  Please advise and tnx.

  1489.  
  1490.  You'll have to excuse my ignorance here, as I'm new to this list,
  1491. and KA9Q.  I was advised by somebody at my internet provider that I could
  1492. use KA9Q to set up an inexpensive internet router.  What I want to do is
  1493. put a machine on our net that would dial our internet provider when a packet
  1494. arrives at it destined for the internet.  I would prever to use PPP for the
  1495. dial protocol, but CSLIP would be fine as an alternate.
  1496.  
  1497.  I got a verion of KA9Q from the net, and have it on a machine in
  1498. our net, talking to the rest of our local net.  What I can't figure out is
  1499. how to actually get the PPP interface to dial out, and then dial out when
  1500. a packet arrives for the internet.
  1501.  
  1502.  I'm hoping somebody can point me to a KA9Q distribution, or document
  1503. on how to do this sort of thing.

  1694. all is well until I "connect" to another station via the mb connect feature.

  2209.  You'll have to excuse my ignorance here, as I'm new to this list,
  2210. and KA9Q.  I was advised by somebody at my internet provider that I could
  2211. use KA9Q to set up an inexpensive internet router.  What I want to do is
  2212. put a machine on our net that would dial our internet provider when a packet
  2213. arrives at it destined for the internet.  I would prever to use PPP for the
  2214. dial protocol, but CSLIP would be fine as an alternate.
  2215.  
  2216.  I got a verion of KA9Q from the net, and have it on a machine in
  2217. our net, talking to the rest of our local net.  What I can't figure out is
  2218. how to actually get the PPP interface to dial out, and then dial out when
  2219. a packet arrives for the internet.
  2220.  
  2221.  I'm hoping somebody can point me to a KA9Q distribution, or document
  2222. on how to do this sort of thing.

  3598.  You'll have to excuse my ignorance here, as I'm new to this list,
  3599. and KA9Q.  I was advised by somebody at my internet provider that I could
  3600. use KA9Q to set up an inexpensive internet router.  What I want to do is
  3601. put a machine on our net that would dial our internet provider when a packet
  3602. arrives at it destined for the internet.  I would prever to use PPP for the
  3603. dial protocol, but CSLIP would be fine as an alternate.
  3604.  
  3605.  I got a verion of KA9Q from the net, and have it on a machine in
  3606. our net, talking to the rest of our local net.  What I can't figure out is
  3607. how to actually get the PPP interface to dial out, and then dial out when
  3608. a packet arrives for the internet.
  3609.  
  3610.  I'm hoping somebody can point me to a KA9Q distribution, or document
  3611. on how to do this sort of thing.
